Jimy is a writer, director, and creative producer. She’s currently co-creating and writing a comedy series about an Indian-American family living in Silicon Valley in partnership with Break the Room Now, Powderkeg, Hyde Park, and ShivHans. You can find more info about it here, here, & here.

She’s also a comedian. Her comedy career began as an intern for Saturday Night Live. Since then she’s studied at the Upright Citizens Brigade and has written for and worked with several comedic powerhouses, including Kevin Hart & J.B. Smoove. She now performs stand up and storytelling shows all over NYC & LA.

She has a BFA in Film & TV production from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Her dramedy feature film screenplay, Meera, was a semi-finalist for the 2016 Sundance Screenwriters’ Lab.

Jimy grew up in Atlanta, lived in NYC for several years, but currently calls LA home. She loves mangoes, Beyoncé, and more mangoes.
