Jimy is a writer, comedian & director. She was most recently an executive story editor on the upcoming Apple TV+ series, Stick, starring Owen Wilson and Marc Maron. She’s also developed with 20th Televison, Paul Feig’s Powderkeg, Hyde Park and Shivs Hans. Jimy’s previously written for HBO, Peacock & Sony and was a staff writer on Disney’s Mira, Royal Detective.
Prior to that, she wrote the digital series “#NailedIt” for Maker Studios, created viral content for Super Deluxe (10M+ views) and was a semi-finalist for the 2016 Sundance Screenwriters Lab. In her previous career, Jimy worked as a creative marketing writer/producer for several entertainment brands including Disney Branded Television and Kevin Hart's “Real Husbands of Hollywood” (BET). She also has a BFA in Film and Television Production from NYU.
Jimy grew up in Atlanta, lived in NYC for several years, but currently calls LA home. She loves Beyoncé, mangoes, and avoiding the dirty dishes pilled up in her sink.
